Hello Everyone!
This is my first day to day life post but a very important one to me. If you all have been following my instagram page (Culturallyinclined22) you will have known about my big new job announcement a few weeks ago!
I am extremely excited to share that I recently left my part time job at a bakery for a full time customer service job at the business that handles the largest pre-paid college tuition program offered in the US. I must admit I was very lucky in both finding and obtaining this job after four months of constant job searching. Since last monday, I have been hard at work training and learning state statutes, residency requirements and all that is to know about the pre-paid program and 529 savings program. Even though it is a lot of new information, I am talking pages upon pages upon pages of information, I am really enjoying the job environment, my fellow trainees and the job training for my upcoming integration into my new position.
Not only have I gotten a new job in the past two weeks but I will also be getting ready to begin studying and preparing for the GRE. This will be in preparation for applying for the Clinical Psychology Masters/Ph.D combined program that I hope to be accepted into within this upcoming year for the following school year.
While these are only baby steps they show me that things are slowly but surely coming together so that I can reach my personal, academic and career goals.
Stay tuned for another Day to Day life update! :)
