I apologize for not making updates to my fitness section in a while. Today I want to introduce the update I made to my fitness routine recently!
For those of you who read my previous posts, you will know that I was using Jillian Michael's Yoga Meltdown workout (level 1 and level 2) as apart of my fitness routine for the last three months. Upon contemplation abut the level of the workout I was doing and the progress I have made since I first began my fitness journey I realized that I needed to change to a more challenging fitness routine than the one that I had been doing. I decided to change to Jillian Michael's Yoga Inferno after reading several favorable reviews online.
Let me tell you, this yoga routine maintains a very rapid pace from start to end. The pace of this workout is so much faster than the Yoga Meltdown that I at first had trouble keeping up. As I continued to power through the workout I was able to adjust my pacing and match hers. The difficulty of this workout, in comparison to her Yoga Meltdown workout, is definitely apparent within the first couple of minutes. The level one beginning modifications were more difficult than most of level 2 modifications. I believe that the biggest difference between the two workout videos comes from the fact that this one is more arm strength challenging than the Yoga Meltdown routines. I have always had a weaker upper body than lower body thanks to my dedication and love for fencing and running. As such, the increase in arm strength challenge in this workout makes me both enthusiastic and determined to improve the weaker area of my body.
Overall, the workout definitely packs a punch which is something that I wanted after mastering her Yoga Meltdown workouts level one and two.
